In celebration of Osaka University’s 90th anniversary and the 100th anniversary of Osaka University of Foreign Studies, we organized a video contest, “3 Minutes of Inspiration for Sustainable Development”, among students from our partner universities around the world and Osaka University. We received over 130 entries and 69 creative works from around the world. We are pleased to present the best videos and the winners at the Awards Ceremony & Student Forum to be held on online (zoom) on June 25. This event aims to bring together the video producers, the participants of the contest, as well as other students interested in creating videos, promoting sustainable development, or meeting students from other countries. Internationally renowned film director Naomi Kawase and Prof. Murali Chandrashekaran, Vice Provost International at University of British Columbia, will give inspirational messages to the students. In addition to announcing the winners of the contest, we will have discussion time with the 11 best video producers. We hope the event will be a good opportunity for students to meet and have a dialogue with others. Program 1.
